heal·ing
/ˈhēliNG/
noun
the process of restoring wholeness, or balance, to an ecosystem, organism, or one’s body, mind, or spirit
“To heal” is to transcend suffering. It is to reclaim control of your life’s narrative and return to wholeness, on your terms.
Teach·ing
/TEE-ching/
origin word of “doctor” is docere (Latin), meaning “to teach.”
verb
the process, action, and practice of facilitating learning, imparting knowledge, skills, and understanding to others
Teaching, to me, is not about authority or “power over.” It is an agreement, where there is flow of respect, giving, and receiving. It is about walking beside. Inspiring. Empowering. Resourcing. Creating conditions where you can openly receive knowledge, education, teachings as well as reconnect with the wisdom already alive within you.
I believe teaching is most transformative when it is experiential, embodied, and accessible. My classes, workshops, and immersive experiences provide not just information, but skill building, integration, remembrance, and belonging.
I honor all ways of knowing and learning: intellectual, intuitive, ancestral, scientific, creative, somatic, relational. Whether you process through story, sensation, writing, silence, or dialogue, there is space for you here.
These offerings are designed to be respectful, engaging, enlightening, and fun. Healing does not have to be heavy to be meaningful.
Curiosity is medicine. Discovery is medicine. Awe is medicine
I serve as teacher, educator, light-bearer, guide, but the healing journey is yours to take. Often, it is the journey, rather than the destination, that can lead to healing, transcending suffering, and often, returning back home to you in an entirely new way. As T.S. Eliot writes,
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
Teacher. Educator. Guide.
Healing facilitator.
Sarah Sue
Healing has always been in my nature. No matter where I am, I carry my healing space & tools with me. I have learned that we are the medicine ~ the listening, witnessing, holding space, heart space, energy, spirit, and more…
Service is something I have been committed to for much of my life. Just like you, my experiences have informed and shaped me into who I am today. I fought forest fires across the United States, led Women’s Wellness Workshop Retreats and girls’ empowerment camps in rural Morocco, and have been volunteering at homeless shelters and low income housing for years. I have been in the “practice” & “art” of medicine, providing my services for over 15+ years, including to the underserved. It has been an honor to guide and serve as a birth doula, assisting in the powerful rite of passage into motherhood (and fatherhood), as well as a holistic healing arts teacher, educator, & earth steward, or as I like to call it “speaker of the trees, flowers & bees.”
My passions & calling have led me to the intersection of many medicines ~ wellness, connectedness, community, energy (Vis, Qi, Chakras, Spirit), magic (the extraordinary within the ordinary), & spirit, including ministry of the heart’s wisdom, Mother Earth, Higher Power, Divine, Creator, & Love. These areas have informed my perspective of what medicine and healing can look like. Often, the physical state is a reflection of the emotional and spiritual states. The body is the densest form of the soul. It tells a story. We just need to listen.
I value respect, integrity, compassion, and non-judgment. No matter what walk of life you’re in, my priority is that you feel seen, heard, respected, and validated along your own journey. I am here to serve you.
A journey home to Empowerment, Inspiration & wisdom already within you.
